Boyle, Joseph Thomas, 60, of Lithia went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2016 after a courageous battle with Ocular Melanoma since 2008.

Joe was born on January 14, 1956 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Joseph Boyle and Jane (Cooper) Boyle. Growing up, Joe was very athletic, a skill he would use during his teaching and coaching career. Joe was a Principal at Fairmont School in Hackensack, New Jersey, where he also coached several sports. Joe was a strong believer in his faith, which showed to those around him towards the end of his journey.

Along with his mother, Joe is survived by his wife of 28 years Bernadette, son Joseph, brothers; James, and Thomas, sisters; Susan, and Kathy, nieces and nephews; Richard, Christopher, Kelly, Jacquelyn, Jenna, Travis, Lucas, and Derek, and his dog Max.

A Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6-9 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11am at St. Stephen Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation-CureOM at 1411 K Street NW Suite 800 Washington, DC 20005.
