Joseph Lawrence Border, 54, passed away July 28, 2016. He was born in Wilmington, Ohio and preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Border and Nita Border (Schirmer).

Joe was strong but gentle, smart and hardworking. He loved his family and friends with all of his heart.

He is survived by his loving family: son, Adam Border (Ashley) of Tampa, FL; granddaughter, Samantha Border of Magna, UT; brother, John Border (Toni) of Middleton, MD; sisters, Terry Border of Cincinnati, OH, Vicky Bauer (Mike) of Mt. Healthy, OH, and Karen Hardwick (David) of Fairfield, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 2, 10:00 am, with the funeral service to follow, 11:30 am, at Serenity Meadows in Riverview. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio at a later date.
