With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Antonio Rivera (Tony), a loving son, father, and brother. Born September 9, 1967 – January 29, 2026.

Jose A. Rivera is survived by his loving mother, Cecilia Quesada; three daughters, Rachel, Danniel, and Elizabeth; five grandchildren; and five siblings: Carmen Delia, Mirna, Carmen, Ana, and Adolfo, who will continue to honor his memory with grace and compassion.

Tony loved his family deeply and would have protected them with his life. He showed his love by cooking delicious meals and handcrafting wooden boxes and detailed wooden ships—creations he was so proud of and that reflected his talent and care.
