Jose Luis was born in San German, Puerto Rico. After he graduated from high school he moved to New York where he studied Radiation Technology. Jose Luis took the responsibility of caring for his mother until she passed.

Jose was very protective and supportive of his siblings; Manuel, Carmen, Iraida and already deceased Hilda, Rosa Esther and Angel. He also was very loved by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jose loved to travel, enjoyed the outdoors and nature, and always planned activities to be with family or friends.

Jose Luis will be greatly missed by his family and friends whose lives he touched, however they are grateful that he is resting in peace.

Memorial service in his honor will be held on Saturday 9/27/2025 @ 10am at Serenity Meadows Cemetery
