Ortega, Jose Antonio, 67, of Riverview, passed away on June 30, 2009. He is preceded in death by his son, Jose Antonio Diaz. Jose is survived by his loving family, wife of 42 years, Celia; daughters, Ada Iris Diaz and her husband, Richard Urdiales, and Doris Rivera and her husband, Adolfo Rivera; grandchildren, Maria, Enrique, Leilani, Nicholas, Ryan and Joselyn; and great-grandchildren, Victor, Isaiah, Xavian and Amare. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
