Joni Lynn Colver, 63, of Brandon, FL., passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at her residence.  Born in August, 1956 in Key West, FL to the proud parents, Benjamin F. Jr & Betty (Wallace) Crumpton, Joni lived a life of challenge, being born with low vision, eventually becoming blind and finally subjected to cancer.  She handled it all with dignity and determination. She was a former medical transcriptionist and worked for Centro Espanole in Tampa, Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers, FL, St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN and M*Modal Transcription Services.  She will be greatly missed by her husband of 37 years, Skip Colver; her mother, Betty; her brother, Benjamin Crumpton III of Brandon, FL and the many friends she made in the blind community across the country. No doubt she will be remembered fondly by all those she inspired over the years.
