Obituary

Jonathan Dewey Fields, 22 of Tampa passed away Friday, August 29th, 2014. Jonathan was born in Tampa November 4, 1991 to John "Mitch" and Lesie Fields. Jonathan earned his Associates Degree from Hillsborough Community College in Automotive Service Technology and worked for Tampa Off Road Truck Accessory Store. Jonathan was a gentle, kind and spirited soul. He loved spending time with his family and friends and he loved music, dancing and anything with a motor. His smile and laugh would light up any room. His eye's had a twinkle that showed the spirit of his heart and his passion for life, which was witnessed by all those who knew him. Jonathan was a blessing and gift to his family. We will forever, until we meet again, have you in our hearts. We will miss you terribly, but we will receive the strength to continue this journey from knowing we will be with you again one day. We love you and long for the day that we will see your beautiful blue eyes again. Jonathan is survived by his loving parents Mitch and Leslie Fields, his sister Merissa Colon (Sam), Grandparents John and Marguerite Fields Sr, John and Audrey Ahlefeld Sr, Aunts and Uncles Robbin Belzer, Kimberly Mortellaro (Vincent),Cynthia Moore (Jim), Michelle Caruso (Leo) Gary Ahlefeld (Ed) and Johnny Ahelfeld (Karen), and Bob Belzer. Cousins- Addison, Cori, Haven, Justin, Anthony, Vincenzo and Nicholas. Nieces Kamryn and Stella and many wonderful friends. A Celebration of Jonathan's life will take place on Saturday September 13, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Bethel Assembly of God, 1510 W. Hillsborough Ave in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, a Scholarship for students enrolled in HCC's Automotive repair program has been established in Jonathan Fields name. Gifts should be sent to HCC Foundation, 39 Columbia Drive, Tampa Florida 33606. Please note on your check that your gift is in memory of Jonathan Fields.
