Thornton, Jon E., age 57, passed away October 12, 2018. He is survived by his loving mother Lunette Thornton, several devoted attentive nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Duchess. He was preceded in death by his father Billy H. Thornton; brothers Gary and Mark Thornton.  Services will be conducted at First Baptist Church of Gibsonton on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
