Todd- Johnny B., Sr., 64, of Lithia, passed away June 26, 2007 at University Community Hospital of Carrollwood. Johnny was born in Port St. Joseph, Florida to the late William and Pellie Todd, and has spent most of his life in the Tampa Bay area. He graduated from Hillsborough High School, Class of 1962 where he excelled in Track and Football. Johnny was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, hunting and the outdoors to the fullest. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Air Force Johnny was retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sharon (Cowart) Todd of Lithia, son, John B. (Sabina) Todd, Jr. of Evergreen, Colorado, sisters, Patricia (James) Gomez of Florida, Linda (Ed) Butler of Georgia and Mary (Claude) Butler of Florida, grandchildren, Max and Madeline Todd of Evergreen, Colorado, Life long friends, Gary and Linda Terrell of Lithia and also name sake, Todd Terrell.
Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Friday, June 29, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Funeral Home in Riverview. The Todd family would like to thank University Community Hospital of Carrollwood's Nursing staff for the loving care provided. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of one's choice, Meals on Wheels or to the charity of one's choice in Johnny's name or go out and enjoy yourself or life with the same fervor that Johnny did.
