Gay, Johnnie D., 66, went home to be with The Lord on June 11, 2013. He is survived by Diane, his high school sweetheart and wife of 46 years, his mother Irene, and brother Phillip. Also his daughters Marlena Bray and Jennifer Rogan, and his granddaughters Sierra Bray and Savannah Bray. Johnnie proudly served 6 years in the US Air Force and gave 40 years of his life to CSX Railroad, 25 as an engineer. He will be laid to rest alongside his son Stephen D. at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola with a celebration of his life in Tampa to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Humane Society or LifePath Hospice.
