RATHEL, Johney Charles, 82 of Riverview passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Johney was a member of First Baptist Church of Brandon, and a member of Local Carpenters Union #696. He is survived by: his loving wife of 63 years, Betty J.; son, Charles "Wayne" (Donna); daughters, Brenda Weeks (Wayne), Sharon New (Jimmy), and Juanita Sheppard (Chuck); sister, Ida Wilson (Al), 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren. A celebration of Johney's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2008 at Serenity Meadows Chapel.
