With heavy hearts, the family of John Robert Styles announces his passing at the age of 71. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on November 19, 1952, John was welcomed into heaven in the early morning of October 3, 2024. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his wife, after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

John was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 31 years, Judy Styles. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. John cherished his role as a father to Brian Harper (Sedina) and Jennifer Bogush and her former spouse, John and he adored his granddaughters, Brianna, Sophia, Madison, and Morgan, who lovingly called him "Papa." Also survived by his mother, Ethel Albrecht, brother, Jim Gisclair (Bobbie), his sister, Judy Merlo and many friends and family including nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-law. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Arthur Styles. His family was his greatest joy, and he took every opportunity to create lasting memories with them.

A passionate traveler, John delighted in exploring the world alongside his family. Whether it was the breathtaking mountains of North Carolina or the serene beauty of Caneel Bay in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, he embraced every adventure with an open heart. These cherished moments, shared with his loved ones, will forever remain a part of their lives.

John dedicated over 35 years to the real estate business, where he became an accomplished licensed broker and owner of Styles and Styles Company Realtors. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support touched the lives of many, and he will be remembered for his warm spirit and the light he brought to those around him.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Marian Menezes for his compassionate care and support over the years.

A celebration of John's life will take place on November 30, 2024, from 1 to 3 PM, with a service beginning at 2 PM at Serenity Meadows. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at pulmonaryfibrosis.org.

John's legacy of love and adventure will continue to inspire all who knew him.
