SHORES, John R., 85, of Brandon, FL passed away June 15, 2016. Born in Indiana to Mary and Ernest Shores. Mr. Shores is survived by his children, Kirk Shores and Kathy Ksaibati; three step-children; grandchildren, Layla Ksaibati-Allen, Jenna Ksaibati and Dr. Tarik Ksaibati and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Kenneth Layne Shores and then his wife, Dorothy Jacqueline (Oard) Shores. John proudly served and retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a decorated Staff Sergeant and Commandant. The family will have a Memorial service to celebrate his life 3:00 pm, Friday, June 24, 2016 at Serenity Meadows Funeral home.
