Romero, John A., 85, of Brandon passed away on May 1, 2016. He was born on January 21, 1931 to the late John F. and Leonilla (Wier) Romero. John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nellie, sons; Anthony and wife (Patricia) Romero, Richard and wife (April) Romero, daughters; Lisa and husband (Bill) Romero Rearick, Shannon Romero, sisters; Sister Rose Rivero, Louise Romero, Elba Hickey, and Marina Cochran. John was preceded in death by his son John F. Romero. A Viewing will take place on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:15 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Mass will follow at 11 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
