John Bernard Mulhern (73), also known as Lefty, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024, in Riverview, Florida.

John is survived by his son Brian Mulhern of Riverview, FL, daughter Alicia (Whitney) Taylor of Riverview, FL, grandchildren Andreas (Mariah) Taylor of Apollo Beach, FL, Jaylin Taylor of Riverview, FL, Dorian Taylor of Riverview, FL, great grandson Andreas Taylor Jr. of Apollo Beach, siblings Maureen (Lester) Bortz of Pardeville, WI, Jeannie Mulhern of Madison, WI, Michael (Bonnie) Mulhern of Portage, WI, James Mulhern of Arlington, VA, Scott (Jeannie) Mulhern of River Falls, WI, and Kathleen Mulhern of Rippon, WI.  John was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Marjorie (Donlin) Mulhern, his two siblings, Mary Ann Mulhern, and Joseph Stephen Mulhern and daughter Brenda (Mulhern) Westbrook.

John loved spending time with his family and friends, and the love he had for his kids and grandkids was endless.  He enjoyed watching football, his favorite team was the Green Bay Packers.  He enjoyed listening to classic rock music and loved taking car rides.  He loved going on walks around the block, observing the peacocks in the neighborhood and picking up random rocks. He loved the outdoors and nature, was adamant about recycling and taking care of the planet, often mentioning John Muir.  He was always so vibrant, witty, and charismatic, he liked telling jokes, enjoyed telling stories of his life, and talking your ear off.

Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held in Riverview, FL.
