La Manna, John W., 83, passed away on December 8, 2018. He moved to Leesburg, FL from Skokie, IL. He survived his wife of 46 years Shirley, who passed away in July of 2006. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, friend, and a mentor to many people. John was a very gracious person who gave straight from the heart and opened his home to anyone in need, not expecting anything in return. He enjoyed his family, friends, antique cars, music, dining out and everything life had to offer. John is survived by his loving family, children; John E La Manna, Pamela Wiersum, William La Manna, and Jacqueline Strauss, and grandchildren; Megan La Manna, Nicholas La Manna, Max Wiersum, Samantha Wiersum, Dean Wiersum, Katelyn La Manna, Anthony La Manna, Sky Strauss, and Brook Strauss.
