MAGNER, John R., 88, of Plant City passed away on Monday, June 9, 2008. Originally from Ossining, NY, John moved to the area 25 years ago from Worthington, OH and was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. A WW II veteran he returned home to work for Borden's, becoming a Corporate Vice President. He was an active member of The American Legion, Post 278 and VFW Post 1041. He is predeceased by: his wife, Margaret; son, Bruce. He is survived by: his loving daughters, Joan A. Magner, MD and Karen S. Lantz; grandchildren, Erin, Andrea, Beth, and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Haley and Julia.
