John W. Kozlowski, 92, of Valrico, passed away on March 29, 2016. John was born in Elizabeth, NJ. He also lived in Cranford and Flemington, NJ prior to moving to Florida in 2011. John was predeceased in death by his loving wife, Anne and brother Henry. He is survived by his daughter Sandra Colon (Louis) of Melbourne, Fl; daughter Karen Van Aulen (Ted) of Valrico, FL; son David J. Kozlowski (Lynn) of Manalapan, NJ; two grandchildren, Gregory and Sarah Kozlowski; and his dear sisters, Lottie Cop and Helen Kozlowski. Mr. Kozlowski was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for the Wilson Jones Company in Elizabeth, NJ, where he was an electrician for 40 years, retiring in 1988. He then continued on to his second career as a "Handyman" in the Seniors Program with the Cranford, NJ Community Center for 20 years before "officially" retiring in 2008. A private memorial service will be held.
