Howell, John Michael, 60, of Riverview, passed away on September 26, 2011. He was a sports fan who loved football, baseball, hockey and wrestling. John worked at Leslie Controls in Tampa for 29 years. He is survived by his loving family, wife of 43 years, Carol; sons, Michael (Dawn) and Lee (Linda); daughter, Jackie; mother, Marianne; brother, Robert (Terri); sister, Doris; grandchildren, Kirsten, Anissa and Jaylen; and an extended loving family, including his dog, Buddy. There will be a visitation on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 4:00 pm. Remember me when flowers bloom early in the spring. Remember me on sunny days in the fun that summer brings. Remember me in the fall as you walk through the leaves of gold and in the wintertime - remember me in the stories that are told. But most of all remember each day - right from the start I will be forever near for I live within your heart.
