Hibberd, John S., 83, of Seffner passed away on April 18, 2011. John proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired after 30 years from General Motors in Delaware, after retiring he worked at Busch Gardens in Tampa for 11 years. He had a passion for gardening and loved sports, especially the Rays and Gators. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Marguerite Hibberd; wife, Patricia; grandson, Craig; and daughter-in-law, Carol. John is survived by his loving family, sons, Steve Hibberd, Jay Hibberd and Charles Harter; daughters, Stephanie (Chris) Miller and MaryAnn Nowell; sisters, Dorothy Calendine and Peggy Gray; grandchildren, Gene, Eric, Crystal, Sylvia, Brittyn, Christian, Brandi and Derek; several great-grandchildren; and best friend, Patricia Maus.
