John R. Fye passed away peacefully at home. John was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, and was the son of the late Charles and Irma Fye.
John was the cherished husband of his beloved wife, Diane, and a devoted father to Dana (Spencer), Steve (Alexa), Erin (Tim), and Stacey (Terry). He was a proud grandfather to Wiley (Ashley), Michael (Monika), Sydney (Colin), Maddie (Daniel), and Maggie, and a loving greatgrandfather to Jacob and Louie. He was joyfully anticipating the arrival of his greatgranddaughter, Lily, this September.to know John was to know a man deeply committed to his faith, his family, and his profession, as well as serving others. He lived his beliefs through quiet acts of kindness, generosity, and service to his clients and community. He embraced life fully, meeting each season with gratitude, resilience, and purpose.
His legacy is one of unwavering love, steadfast faith, humility, and devotion. He leaves behind a family strengthened by his example and countless friends and associates whose lives were enriched by his character. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Lou (Paul) and his brother Tom (Mary Lou). He is survived by his sisters, Patricia (Carl), Margaret (Dennis), Barbara (Richard), Kathryn (Art); and brothers, Charles (Hedy), James (Dawna), David (Lynda), and Michael (Sharon).
Visitation will be held at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview, Florida on Wednesday, August 12th from 6 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Tampa on Thursday, August 13th at 10 am. Memorial donations may be made to Children’s Heart Foundation at https://bit.ly/JFCHF26
