Cormier, John C., 79, of Riverview, passed away quickly from a short illness on February 17, 2016. He graduated from Concord High School in 1955 in Concord MA.

John worked in management for a large defense company in Bedford, MA. He worked at the Concord and Bedford MA Police Departments. John was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 148, the Riverview Family Moose Center Chapter 1031, and the Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy. He was a past member of Nativity Catholic Church and St. Stephen Catholic Church; currently participating with the parish at Resurrection Catholic Church where he was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

John is survived by his loving family, wife of 58 years, Mary J Cormier; children, Helen Noza, Frank Cormier, Jack (Linda) Cormier; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10:00 am at Resurrection Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy at www.thedivinemercy.org/eadm
