Abruzzese, Joan (Macknee), age 91, of Riverview, FL formerly from Long Island, NY passed away peacefull on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. She was born October 1st, 1932 to George and Victoria Macknee.

Joan is survived by her daughter Carol Negron, son Robert Abruzzese, sister Vistoria Riley, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Though she loved to crochet lap blankets for the nursing home and baby blankets for the little ones, her favorite role was that of being "Grammy" to all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Joan requested that there be no services held. If desires, friends and family may make memorial contributions to St. Judes Hospital in her honor.
