Jimmie L. Christian, 68, of Wimauma, FL, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.  Born on July 14, 1951 in Harlan, KY to the proud parents of Thomas & Opal May (Chadwell) Christian, Jimmie just recently moved to the area from Oakridge, TN and he loved wood working, being a drummer and a sports coaching Dad.  He was a foreman in the construction industry and a Pentecostal.  The Love he had for his family: his wife, kids, and grandkids, was beyond words.  Even though he couldn't communicate recently, he did say "I Love You…" all the way to the end.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Linda; his loving daughter, Lisa (Brent) Sherwood of Wimauma, FL: his loving son, Christopher (Marcy) Christian of Indianapolis, IN; his brother: Jerry (Jill) Christian of Harimin, TN; his three sisters: Rita (Larry) Jamieson of Nimeva, IN, Marie Moses of Carmel, IN & Faye (Randy) Muse of Jacksboro, TN; his cherished 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: George & Charles Christian and a sister, Tommie Schwartz

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10am in Indianapolis, IN at Gospel Assembly Church 5809 Bluff Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana 46217

In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to the family at the time of the service or to any cancer foundation of your choice.
