Jill T Gentry, age 75, of Riverview Florida, passed away October 29, 2021, surrounded by her children and grandchildren at St. Joseph South Hospital. She was born March 17, 1946, in Emmetsburg Iowa, a daughter of the late Anthony and Leota Darlene Barnes Koppie.

Jill was preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, James Meredith Gentry; One sister, Evelyn Sorber; three brothers Kert Koppie, Leo Koppie and Larry Koppie; father-in-Law, James Gentry; mother- in- Law, Mildred Gentry; and brother-in- Law, Steve Gentry.

Jill is survived by three daughters, Meredith Gentry of Robinson, Illinois; Milissa Grimsley of Lithia, Florida; and Margaret Gentry of Riverview, Florida; four grandchildren, Vanessa Grimsley of Lithia Florida; Brittany Misrahi (Michael) of Orlando, Florida; Skyler St. Onge of Tallahassee, Florida; and Brooke St. Onge. of Riverview, Florida; three great grandchildren, Sebastian Duarte; Benjamin and Finn Misrahi; three brothers, Dar Koppie (Nancy); Chad Koppie; and Gary Koppie( Linda); one sister, Kay Moore; brother-in-Law, Mark Gentry; and sister-in-law, Meg Sunde (Harold). She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Jill was a loyal and faithful servant of God, attending daily mass at St. Stephen Catholic Church. She touched everyone she met and could light up the room with her beautiful smile and was always willing to lend an ear or helping hand to anyone who needed it, a true follower of Christ.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Riverview, Florida, and will also be streamed live on the church's website: https://ststephencatholic.org/ and the church's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ststephencatholicchurch .

Burial will follow in the Serenity Meadows Memorial Park in Riverview, Florida. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021.
