Jesse D. Prez, 24, of Valrico, Florida, died January 17, 2015. He was born December 3, 1990 in Nebraska, the son of Dan and Silvia Prez. He graduated from Bloomingdales High School where he was very athletic and involved in several sports. He loved baseball, swimming, and paintball. He was currently enrolled at Hillsborough Community College majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Jesse was a member of the Brandon Billiards pool family. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing in pool tournaments. He is described by friends as outgoing and compassionate. His favorite music was hard rock. Jesse is survived by his parents Dan and Silvia Prez and his sister Nicole Prez. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Jose and Monserrate Gonz¡lez of Aguada, Puerto Rico; and godparents Daniel and Carmen Gonz¡lez. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins from all over the United States. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Serenity Meadows Memorial Park in Riverview, Florida. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 22nd from 6-8pm. The memorial service will be held on Friday at 2pm at the funeral home. The family asks that flowers be sent to Serenity Meadows.
