Jerome Bernard Plevyak, 86, of Zephyrhills, Florida, previously of New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on September 9, 2022, surrounded by his family.

After graduation from Newton High School, in Sussex County NJ, he enlisted and served in the Air Force. He then became a Computer Systems Analyst.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anna Plevyak of New Jersey and Sister Kathy Brogan (Brian) of Tennessee. His wife of 57 yrs. Eve (nee Kennedy); and Son Mark W Plevyak (Age 19); Grandson Jerome Otero (Age 24), and Granddaughter Jamie Leigh Armstrong (Age 9).

He and Eve raised 5 children together, Gary Plevyak, (Ricky) Riverside, NJ; Kim Cornell, (Jeff) Zephyrhills, FL; Mark William Plevyak, (never married) 1960-1980; Karen Hay, (Robert) Winter Haven, Fl; Julie Cannon, (Steve), Zephyrhills, Fl.

They were blessed with ten grandchildren, Ray Oero (Nicole), Zephyrhills, Fl; Dale Otero (Susan), of Valrico, Fl; Christopher (Sharon), of Zephyrhills, Fl; Mark Otero (Hannah) Zephyrhills Fl; Jerome Rosa Otero (Lindsey Pfoff); Patrick Armstrong Otero, Single of Valrico; Jamie Leigh Armstrong. Robert Hay Jr., Bartow Fl; Jonathan Hay, Lakeland. Fl; Ashley Hay, Winter Haven Fl; Great Grandchildren Jacob Galdos, Joseph and Gio Otero (Ray and Nicole); Jamie, Brianna, Emily Otero (Dale n Sue); Celeste Otero, (Chris and Jen); Lily Angelini, Faye Otero, (Chris and Sharon); Anthony, (Mark n Kim); Gabriel, (Mark n CJ); Niko Otero (Mark and Hannah); Jerome Reece Pfoff-Otero, Jayce Anthony Pfoff, (Jerome and Lindsey) of Ruskin, Florida.

Beside his immediate family he is survived by his brother Thomas Plevyak (Maureen) of Virginia, and sister Lorraine Mills (John) of New Jersey.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be a private memorial for family and close friends.
