Jeffrey Thomas Pospichal, 29, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 in a car accident. Raised in Brandon, he was a graduate of Bloomingdale High School who also attended Santa Fe Community College. He was a gentle, hopeful young man who thrived on cooking and aspired to be a professional chef. He was an avid reader (especially of history), had a passion for growing orchids and enjoyed serving all those he loved. The people he touched through his thoughtfulness, love, kindness and humor are his legacy. In this world for such a short time, Jeffrey certainly left it a better place. He is survived by his soul mate, Christina Marie O'Bryan; father, Marion Thomas Pospichal; mother, Karen Ella Pospichal; brother, John Eugene Pospichal; uncle, Thomas Eugene Johnson; aunt, Theresa Ann Foecking; cousins, Justin and wife Jessica Jarrod; and James Foecking; step-mother, Linda Pospichal, step-brother, Anthony DeFranco; and step-sisters, Patty Smith and Anne Marie Telford. Visitation with the family will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and a service to celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 15th, in the Chapel at Bell Shoals Baptist
Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon, FL 33511. A reception will follow the service in the Special Events Center (SEC) at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bell Shoals Baptist Church in memory of Jeffrey Pospichal (denote "Benevolence").
