Tison, Jeanne M., of Brandon, Fl. went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 16, 2014. She was born April 13, 1937 in Waynesville, N.C. She graduated from Hampton High School in Hampton, Virginia in 1955. In 1956 she married William (Bill) Tison of Newport News, Virginia. After her husband was commissioned in the U.S. Army, she lived in several locations including Hawaii, Germany, Fort Knox, KY., Fort Belvoir, VA., Fort Benning, GA., Fort Riley, KS, and Fort McCoy, WI. Her church is Providence Baptist Church in Riverview, Fl. She loved to read and watch game shows. Jeanne is survived by Bill, her husband of 57 years, her daughter Jill (Bob) Dewhurst of Brandon, Fl., grandsons; William Michael Dewhurst and Matthew Robert Dewhurst, sister Sandra (George) Hicks of Yorktown, VA. There will be a time of visitation from 10-11 am on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Fl.
