Filippone, Jay Albert, 79, of Brandon passed away on April 8, 2013. He was born on September 15, 1933 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Albert J. and Frances M. (Fiducia) Filippone. Jay,a Rutgers Alumni, was in the insurance business for over 40 years in both New Jersey and the Tampa Bay area, attaining the status of CLU. Jay leaves to cherish his memory, his loving family, friends and the love of his life, Del Filippone. Along with his wife, Jay is survived by daughters; Kerri (Rick) McDougald, Kim Filippone (Ken) Nowak, Tami (Michael) Vetter, son: Anthony Filippone, step son Donald (Carolyn) Payne, Jr. and step daughter Jennifer Nelson, grandchildren; Erin, Chelsea, Austin, Megan, Brendan, Michael, Rebecca, Maria, and Dana, great grandchildren; Dakota, Madison, and Aidan. A celebration of life service is scheduled May 4, 2013 at 11:30 am at the Brandon Masonic Lodge #114, 203 N Moon Ave.Brandon 33510 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hillsborough County Animal Services, 440 North Falkenburg Road, Tampa, Florida 33619.
