IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Melovich

In Loving Memory of Janis Melovich
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Janis Melovich, a cherished mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, and a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love, grace, and unwavering dedication. Janis left this world on August 13, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and indelible memories.
Born to Cleon and Eddie Joyce Jackson, Janis embodied the very essence of family values. Her upbringing laid the foundation for the loving person she became, radiating compassion and generosity to all fortunate enough to know her. As a daughter, her bond with her parents remained unbreakable, and her devotion was a constant source of inspiration to those around her.
Janis's journey took a beautiful turn when she married John Melovich, a partnership marked by love and mutual respect for almost 52 years. Their shared journey was a testament to the power of love and companionship, a beacon of hope to others seeking a life filled with shared dreams and enduring commitment.
Her greatest roles, however, were those of a mother and a grandmother. Janis poured boundless love and devotion into raising her children, Shelly Browder and Chad Melovich, instilling in them values of integrity, empathy, and the importance of family. Her influence extended to her beloved grandchildren, Blake Browder, Holly Browder, Luke Melovich, and Owen Melovich, who were recipients of her endless love, wisdom, and nurturing spirit.
Janis's life story held many chapters, one of which saw her as a former Cypress Gardens pyramid water skier, capturing the essence of her adventurous spirit and determination. She graced the waters with her presence, leaving a trail of inspiration for those who followed in her wake.
As a Southern belle, Janis exuded grace and charm, a reflection of her vibrant personality and the beauty she brought to the world. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence lit up any room she entered.
Janis Melovich will forever be remembered as a loving force of nature, a woman who embraced life with open arms and left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those she touched along the way.
A celebration of Janis's life will be held on Friday, August 18th, at 3:00 PM, with a visitation beforehand at 2:00 PM at Serenity Meadows in Riverview, Florida.
Though she has left this world, Janis's spirit lives on, a beacon of love and light that will guide us through the darkest of times. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
