Janice Hendrix Raulerson, 79, of Valrico. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and aunt, went to Heaven on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Janice was born in Valrico, FL on December 8, 1942 to Asa and Mable Hendrix and was the youngest of 14 children. She was a life-long resident of the area and faithful member of Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she played the organ and piano and taught Children's Church. She was married to the love of her life, Hollis Raulerson, for 41years.

She was known for her compassionate heart that touched many lives. She enjoyed praise, worship and fellowship at church, reading her bible, gardening, sewing and crossword puzzles. Janice retired from Hillsborough County Schools after working 17 years at Mann Middle School as the overnight custodian.

She is survived by her sons Jack (Diane), Joe (Traci), Mark (Wendy), and daughter Laura (Jeff) Lynn; and sister, Esther Rentz. She was a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Wednesday, December 22, 2021 there will be visitation from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church in Dover, FL. Memorial donations may be made to Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church, 14150 Holiness Church Rd, Dover, FL 33527.
