MENNE, Janice C., 61, of Valrico, Fl. passed away peacefully in her home Saturday morning September 12, 2015, surrounded by her family. Janice was a great person with a big heart and despite a courageous 5 ½ year battle with cancer she truly lived her life to the fullest. Janice never let her illness slow her down and was an inspiration and loved by all who knew her. She loved travelling, gardening, art festivals and enjoying a glass of wine with friends. A wonderful wife and mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Raymond; children, Raymond Menne, Jr. and Erin (Takashi) Watanabe; and sisters by love, Marie (Jerry) Brackett, Bernie (Jim) Eustice and Nuala (William) Schmitt. AJ (Aunt Janice) is also survived by four nieces, Julie (Ethan) Tevis, Cris (Joe) Hess, Megan Schmitt, Tracy Vinson, four nephews James (Cathy) Eustice, Douglas (Jill) Schmitt, Scott McCarthy, Thomas Geiger, and ten great nieces and nephews. Janice was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. A funeral service to honor her life will take place Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 pm.
