Janette O. Cua, 56, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was born on June 25, 1969, in the Philippines to Domingo De La Cruz Ong and Teresita Ang.

Janette was raised in an environment filled with warmth, laughter, and strong family ties; values she carried with her throughout her life. She was very social throughout her school years, forming friendships easily, a trait that stayed with her as she grew older.

She attended Far Eastern University and later built a career as a pharmacy technician. Janette had a joyful spirit and loved to sing and dance, especially karaoke, which brought her and those around her much happiness.

Janette enjoyed taking pictures and always looked beautiful. She expressed her creativity and confidence through her love of hair, makeup, fashion, and a cherished collection of purses. She also found joy in writing. She often wrote beautiful letters to family and friends. Janette was so caring, loving, and thoughtful. She was also known and loved for her homemade almond jelly.

Janette is survived by her daughters, Jana and Janella, her sister, Josephine, and brother, Jonathan. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

There will be a visitation held for Janette from 11:00 am -12:00 pm on Monday, January 19th, 2026 at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
