Stommel, Janet Eileen, 71, of Brandon passed away on January 31, 2015. She was born May 23, 1943 in England. Janet was an adventurous girl leaving England in her early 20's moving to California. She lived life to the fullest, always being the life of the party. In the later years she became quite the gardener. Janet was loved by all, and will be missed by all. Janet is survived by her daughter Tara (Mike) Foxwell, brothers John Jackson, Colin Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Fred Jackson, Ian Jackson, and Graeme Jackson, sisters Daphne Lathum, and Susan Sonner, numerous nieces and nephews. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and husband James who passed in 2011. A Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 1pm to the start of the service.
