Janet Maresca died peacefully at the Sun City Hospice House on September 24, 2019, in Ruskin, FL at the age of 68.

Janet is survived by husband, Anthony Maresca; children, Janet Ann Maresca-Cruz, Anthony Maresca, and Antoinette King; grandchildren Tyler King, Dylan King, Mikayla Maresca, Nicole Maresca, Annabella Maresca; siblings, JoAnn Clark, Pamela Graf, Michael Ricciardi, and Thomas Ricciardi. She is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Ricciardi, father, Pasquale "Michael" Ricciardi, and brothers, John Ricciardi and James Ricciardi.

Janet was born on January 21, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY to Janet and Pasquale "Michael" Ricciardi. She married Anthony "Tony" Maresca, her high school sweetheart, July 06, 1970. During their 49-year marriage, the couple welcomed 3 children and their spouses, and 5 grandchildren into their family. Her family remembers her as a selfless, strong, kind, gentle, patient, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and did everything she could to support them in their pursuit. Her life was her family and she dedicated herself to them.

Viewing hours will be from 10a-12p on September 27, 2019 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park Funeral Home located at 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 1pm following the viewing at St. Stephen Catholic Church located at 10118 St. Stephen Circle, Riverview, FL. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Janet's life.
