Jamie Price Harkins

Jamie Price Harkins, 55, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019. Jamie was born in Watervliet, MI on August 4, 1963. She went on to live in nine different states and spent the last fourteen years residing in Lithia, Florida.

Jamie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jim, and their children: Hannah and Hayden. Additionally, Jamie is survived by her parents, Earle and Sheila Price and three siblings: Mark (Peggy) Price, Cheryl (Kevin) McManis, and Brett (Debbie) Price. Jamie's extended family included numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Jamie graduated from the University of Florida and is a true Gator fan. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She worked for State Farm Insurance for 10 years and spent the last 23 years raising her children.

Jamie participated in Bible Study Fellowship for over 10 years and was an active member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. During the last four years of her life, Jamie faced medical diagnoses that she ultimately used to share her faith with others. Jamie took every opportunity she could to give God all the glory for her cancer's continued stability and courage to remain positive about the future. Jamie's faithfulness was one of her many notable traits.

Jamie loved staying connected to her sorority sisters, making new friends with neighbors throughout her moves, and attending her children's sporting events. Jamie loved to laugh and tell stories - she was always entertaining those around her.

Jamie's funeral service will be Thursday, August 8th at 11:00am at St Stephen Catholic Church, 10118 St Stephen Cir, Riverview, FL 33569
