Colonel James F. Wright

James F. Wright, 90, of Sun City Center, Florida, a retired Air Force Officer and public utility executive, passed away on March 6, 2012. Born on July 9, 1921 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he spent most of his life in Westfield, N.J. and moved to Florida in 1989. Col. Wright enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a private on May 8, 1942. After W.W. II, he remained active in the Air Force Reserve. Col. Wright was a Life Member of the 44th Bomb Group Veterans Association, as well as the 2nd Air Division Association, and the 8th Air Force Historical Society. Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Marion nee Cubberley and sons, William Scott Wright and Robert Bruce Wright (Barbara Boyd) Interment with full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery with graveside services, date yet to be determined.
