Ward, James Joseph, 76, of Brandon, FL, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Mary Ann; son, Jason; and brothers, Michael and John. He was preceded in death by his brother William. James was a devout Roman Catholic and was a parishioner of the Church of the Nativity for 25 years. He was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1934 to William and Marcela Ward. James will above all be known for being a loyal and faithful husband, a loving father, and greeting each and every person he met with a smile. James' visitation will take place on Sunday, December 19,2010 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 705 E. Brandon Blvd, on Monday, December 20,2010 at 1:00 pm. James will be laid to rest Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:30am at Saint Charles Cemetery in Long Island, NY.
