James Jack Symons, Sr., 87, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away in the company of his children on August 22, 2016. He died of complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was a US Air Force veteran. Mr. Symons was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lovell (nee Bougher), and siblings, sister, Jean Ferg and brother, Joseph Symons. He is survived by two sons, Mark and spouse Sheryl (Towanda, PA) and James, Jr. (Victoria, TX) and daughter, Anne and spouse Robert (Atlanta, GA). Also survived by two sisters, Vivian (Crown Point, IN) and Marge (Lancaster, PA). Mr. Symons leaves behind his two beloved grandsons, Andrew and Colin Symons (Altoona, PA). A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17 at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Sun City Center where Jim and Lovell lived for 17 years. www.serenitymeadows.com
