Scofield, James C., 53, of Brandon passed away on January 1, 2015. He was born on February 26, 1961 in Tampa to the late Clifton and Peggy Scofield. James lifelong passion was for race car driving. James is survived by his sons; Michael (Brandy),and James, daughters; Shannon, and Jennifer, grandchildren; Miciala, Chris, and Brieana, brother Danny Ray (Teresa), sisters; Pennie, and Melissa (Chris), companion, Carol, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will take place at First Baptist Church of Gibsonton on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
