Mathews, James E (Jim) 68, Jim was a native of Corydon, In. and resided in Valrico, Fl. He passed away on November 27, 2015. Jim was a retired employee of Amtrak Auto Train, a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a Eucharistic Minister. He was an avid golfer, a member of Diamond Hill Men's Club, and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Nancy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Margaret Mathews; and a brother, Dick Mathews. James is survived by his loving family, wife of 48 years, Nancy Ernstberger Mathews; children, Angela (Tom) Murphy, Alan Mathews, and Andrea Mathews; and grandchildren, Sam, Luke, Megan, and Mia. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, Fl. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Valrico, Fl.
