JAMES J. DACEY 80, passed away January 7 after a short illness. Born in Morristown, he was a recent resident of Sun City Center, FL. and formerly of Jupiter, FL. as well as Boonton Township, NJ. He was preceded in death by Teresa, his wife of 54 years and son, Robert. Survivors include his son, Joe and daughter-in-law, Karen of Riverview, Fl; daughter, Debbie of Ooltewah, TN; former daughter in law, Victoria Dacey Colombatto of Southbury, CT; and grandchildren, Michael, Brianna, Brendon and Joey. He is also survived by a brother, Michael of Fountain Hills, AZ and sister, Carol Schroeter of Columbus, NJ.

An Air Force flyer and Veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Air Defense Command. He was retired from Moretrench American Corporation, a New Jersey based company engaged In control of groundwater for deep excavations, where he was a Vice President and director. He was also a member of the MOLES; an engineering organization that honors top professionals in the heavy construction industry.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 15 between 8:30 & 9:30 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, Riverview, FL. A mass will follow at 10:00 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Valrico, Fl. Entombment will take place Saturday, 3:00 pm, at Memory Gardens, Lake Worth, Fl.
