Riggs, Jr., James "Cricket", 46, of Tampa passed away peacefully on December 3, 2013. He was born on January 21, 1967 in Sarasota, Fl. to James and Anna Riggs, Sr. Cricket was the husband to Deena Riggs, with whom he shared 14 years of marriage. In his spare time he loved to fish, go to the beach and also go shark tooth hunting.He was prededed in death by his father James Riggs, Sr. Along with his wife, Cricket is survived by his mother, Anna Diesi and step-dad James, step sons; Christopher Stephen, and Chisum Durrance, grandchildren; Emma and Lily Stephen, brothers; Robert Knight, and Andrew Knight, a sister Vanessia and husband Arch Griggs, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; Isaiah and Bryson Dickens, and Kaylahn Jackson, and numerous friends throughout the years. Services by the family will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in James "Cricket" name to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123. Even though Cricket lived a short life on earth, he made the most of it with family and friends, and will be missed dearly by all.
