Cain, James W. "Bill", 80, of Brandon, passed away on September 1, 2016. Bill was born Dec 22, 1935 in Uhrichsville, Ohio and was raised in Daytona Beach, FL. He served in the Army and Reserve from 1958-1964. He began his career with Coca Cola Bottling Company in Daytona Beach in 1954 and retired in 1991 as the District Operations Manager from the Tampa Coca Cola Bottling Co. During his time with Coca Cola he also attended Harvard School of Business and was the marketing/sales liaison with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend. He was also very active in the various communities where he lived and in 1964 was voted one of the Most Outstanding Young Men of America. Some of his activities included: President of Jaycees; Board of Director St Augustine YMCA; Rotary Board of Director; Wrestling Coach for the YMCA and St Augustine School for the Deaf and Blind; Kiwanis of Tampa. Bill enjoyed tennis, golf, scuba diving, going to the shooting range and spending time in his workshop. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Brad Ruel; brothers-in-law, Thomas Ritzi, Dr. Daniel Jacobs, and Francis Littlefield; cousin Stanley Cush. Bill is survived by his loving family, wife of 57 years, Patricia Cain; daughters, Linda Cain, Diane McAnally (Chad), and Karen Ruel; granddaughter, Eliana Chapman; sister, Joan Littlefield; sister-in-law, Ann Ritzi; cousins, Paul Cush (Sharon), Marie Tompkins (Bud), Greg Cush (Michelle), Tony Ielacqua (Imadell), Bobby Ielacqua; family friend, Sharon Orend and his many nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:00 am at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home.
