Mr. James "Jamie" Adkins died peacefully in Lakeland, FL on May 28th, 2021 at the age of 50.

James is survived by his daughter Racii Adkins & fiance Brad Wilson; his grandchildren Audree and Spencer; his brother William Adkins Jr; and his father William Adkins Sr. He is preceded in death by his mother Carol Adkins; and his brother Scott Adkins Sr.

James was born on December 13th, 1970 in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from YTI, Pennsylvania, in 2007 with a degree in Culinary. His daughter and grandchildren remember him as kind, funny, and someone who encouraged them to pursue their goals. He was always laughing and keeping those who surrounded him laughing, too.

James was accomplished at cooking and his favorite meals to make were breakfast dishes. He was a dedicated individual who was passionate about creating delicious plates for friends and family to enjoy. While living in Pennsylvania, James enjoyed spending time with his family and driving his RC cars. He loved to travel to new places, which led him to where he wanted to be, Florida.

He will be missed by many friends and family.
