Jacob Colby Williams, 27, of Brandon, Florida, born on July 1, 1993, was called home on May 9, 2021.

He is survived by his son, Elijah James Williams, Parents Jennifer and Royce Johnson, Miquel (Robin) Williams. Brothers Sebastian and Justin, Sisters Hannah, Ellah, and Kristin. Grandparents Darlene and Ken Gergulis, Robert and Gail Scott, and Patsy Dawkins. Aunts Missy (Allen) DelValle and Jamie (Deronta) Lowe, Uncles Jimmy Shively, Willie Dawkins, Anthony (Lakisha) Dawkins. His cousins Alex Bennett, Alyssa Bennett, Jameson Shively, Patricia Dawkins, Deasia Dawkins, Allanah Dawkins, Cameron Dawkins, Jamari Lowe, and Isaiah Lowe.

Preceded by Cousin Brenden Pipes and Grandfather Andre Williams.

Jacob's witty sense of humor and particular clothing choices (sometimes questionable), We have all come to appreciate, will be missed tremendously.

Jacob will be remembered for his creative mind as an aspiring author, creator of fun (again questionable), schemer, and inventor. He treasured spending time with his son, Elijah. When they were not reading books, watching movies, or countless hours playing video games, they were busy doing science experiments and building models together. He enjoyed cooking- the spicier, the better (the cleaning part not so much).

In Jacob's own words, that he used in a tribute to his cousin, "We cry NOT because of what you miss, but because we MISS you. You are in a happier place, and I'm sure it's happier because of it."

An outdoor memorial service will take place at Serenity Meadows on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 10 am until 11 am. As per Jacob's request, the family asks that no one wear black to celebrate Jacob's goofy and vibrant life.
