Jake T. Cool, 16 of FishHawk Florida, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2020 due to a swimming accident.

Jake was born at Eglin AFB, FL to Katie and Jacob Cool on January 05, 2004.  Jake completed his sophomore year at Newsome High School and was a dedicated member of the swim team competing in the 100 yard breaststroke and 500 yard freestyle.  A proud member of an Army family, he thrived at eight different schools in six states and two countries, never earning a grade less than an A while testing into separate gifted programs four times.  He always sought the toughest challenges and excelled at everything he attempted.  Jake was preparing to compete for an appointment to United States Naval Academy's Class of 2026 and wanted to be a pilot.  He had a special relationship and love for his mother serving as her rock during hard times.

Jake is survived by his loving mother Katie, father Jacob, and brother William.

We will hold a service celebrating his life at FishHawk Fellowship Church on Friday, 26 June at 7 pm for family and friends.  Due to COVID-19 precautions, please bring a mask and adhere to social distancing practices.
