TRUSSEL, Jack B., 89 of Brandon, FL passed away on January 12, 2008 with family at his side. Jack was born in Anderson, Indiana on June 22, 1918 to William and Mary Trussel. Jack was predeceased by: his wife of 32 years Geraldine (Geri) Trussel and son, Deputy Jeffrey Trussel. He is survived by: Susan and Mike Wabuda and Godson Michael Wabuda of Brandon, FL; Howard and Michelle Wooden of Riverview, Florida; Jack Gary Trussel and Bonnie Trussel of NY; John and Deanna Trussel of PA. Jack is also survived by: Grandchildren, Julie Trussel of Florida, Nathaniel Trussel of New York, Benjamin and Carly Trussel of PA; nephew, Bill and Diane Maes of CA. Jack is also survived by many wonderful and loving friends, especially, Betty Hefner. Jack served in the U.S. Navy and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal being wounded while serving on the USS Pennsylvania during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 106 Rolling Hills Blvd., Valrico . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
