Betancourt, Isidro, 81, of Wimauma, passed away on March 28, 2018. Isidro was a God fearing man dedicated to prayer and reading the Bible, he enjoyed listening to music, playing dominos, going fishing, cooking his famous linguine with clam sauce, sharing his childhood stories, making everyone smile and laugh with his jokes, watching baseball and spending time with his family. He was very knowledgeable and full of wisdom and would often give advice or guidance. Isidro is survived by his loving family, children, Carmelo Betancourt, Liz Betancourt, Lily Betancourt, and Iesha Betancourt; sister, Norma; and grandchildren, Adam Betancourt, Christine Betancourt, John "Macho" Carrion, Crystal Carrion, Kristyn Papi, Mark Anthony Carrion, Edwin "Tito" Fernandez, Brittany Rodriguez, Mariyah Betancourt, Isayah Velez, and Elijah Velez; and several great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral service on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 12:30 pm at Providence Baptist Church, 5416 Providence Road, Riverview, FL 33578, with a visitation one hour prior.
